Support in Perpetuity – Endowment Fund
Endowments are an invested pool of assets which provide long-term, sustainable support. Trivium Life Services has established endowment funds for each region. The Trivium New England Endowment was established to support the programs and mission of Trivium Life Services in the New England region.
These gifts help:
- Strengthen long-term stability
- Support future services and innovation
- Ensure Trivium’s mission continues for generations
An endowment gift is one way to create a lasting impact that continues well into the future. Your gift may be eligible for a 10% match by the Community Foundation for Western Iowa. Please contact Hannah Smith to learn more about the Community Foundation’s match.
To support Trivium’s Endowment Funds, you may restrict your gift to our endowment or give directly through our custodian’s online site.

Planned Giving
You care about the future of the individuals and families served by Trivium Life Services. A legacy gift allows you to support that future while maintaining flexibility for your own life and priorities.
Many donors are surprised to learn how simple it can be to include Trivium in their plans. In many cases, it can be completed with just a sentence in your will or trust.
These gifts help ensure that Trivium Life Services can continue creating hope, empowering lives, and inspiring communities for generations to come.
An Example of How It Works
As they began planning for the future, Mallory and James wanted to ensure their family was cared for while also supporting causes that mattered to them. Through the estate planning process, they reflected on the organizations that had made a difference in their community.
They learned that with just a sentence, their will would allow them to include a gift to Trivium Life Services. Their gift allows them to support Trivium’s mission while maintaining flexibility for the future.
Sample Language
For an unrestricted gift that enables Trivium to use the funds based on the most urgent needs, use the following language for your will and/or trust:
“I/We give to the Trivium Life Services Foundation, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 4201 River’s Edge Pkwy, Ste 200, Council Bluffs, IA 51501, or its successor thereto, _________ [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted charitable use and purpose.”
To designate your legacy for a particular purpose:
"I/We give to the Trivium Life Services Foundation, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 4201 River’s Edge Pkwy, Ste 200, Council Bluffs, IA 51501, or its successor thereto, _________ [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property]. This gift should be used for (state purpose) if and so long as the Trivium Life Services Foundation determines that the need exists. If the Trivium Life Services Foundation shall determine at the outset or at a later time that the need does not exist, or no longer exists or for some reason it is not possible (or prudent) to administer my gift as originally intended, then the Trivium Life Services Foundation may, in its sole and uncontrolled discretion, direct the use of my bequest for a purpose related as closely as possible to that stated above."
If you have named Trivium in your will or trust, please let us know so we can ensure that your gift is used according to your wishes. Notifying us of your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. However, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict confidence.
