Sarah is a certified Recreational Therapist with over five years of experience helping individuals find healing, purpose, and connection through meaningful recreation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Brigham Young University–Idaho and holds credentials as both a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (TRS).
Sarah has worked with a wide variety of populations, including at-risk youth, individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as those living with mental illnesses, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), paraplegia, quadriplegia, and Veterans—gaining hands-on experience through her impactful work with Vermont Adaptive. Her approach is rooted in promoting well-being across social, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions, with the goal of helping each client live a full and meaningful life.
Sarah is passionate about using recreation to bring joy, connection, and a sense of belonging to those she serves. She is currently working toward becoming a certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, and Nutrition Specialist to further support her clients’ overall health by deepening her knowledge of movement, wellness, and the human body.
Originally from Idaho, Sarah now lives in New Hampshire with her husband. She loves everything outdoors—from sandy beaches to hiking the Grand Tetons. When she’s not working, you’ll probably catch her at the gym, out in nature, or spending time with family, especially over a friendly game of cards.
